    Default The new forum

I started this site in 2003 because I had had it trying to discuss the golf swing to people that have no chance to do what I am trying to do.

My goal is to be the best teacher ever, and be acknowledged as such. I have never wavered one time in over 31 years from that dual goal.

This site has had many incarnations, but all of them were very successful.

I got this place inside of the 250,000 websites in the world mark a couple of years ago—way, surpassing any golf teacher's site ever. And I got bored with it. We won every meaningful debate we ever had and I proved to the world that my claims of being "just as good as the 'name' teachers on any list, were dead on correct.

But I really like discussing the golf swing.

So I moved over to FaceBook and had unprecedented success on the major boards there. 95% golf pros are the members on those sites and they have been a big part of my business the last few years. They will continue to be.

Mike Jacobs and I started Golf Wise Guys and we are about halfway through a major over haul in website design, look and feel, and processes. The site is a success and will make big strides once the whole redo is done.

I have quite a large group of friends and fellow teachers who are part of our group. They are my biggest supporters and biggest critics. They have helped make this site great.

    But, this is my site.

There has been a redesign of this site in the works for a while and once it is complete. The focus will primarily be my content. There will be new forum software and a completely new focus.

The arguments are over. We won them all.

There will always be a fringe group of people who don't agree with you. I wish all of them the best.

On this website, we have two things that no other site can match or duplicate—me and the synthesized information that is re-making the golf instruction industry.

Basically, if you want to find out about me, what I think about the swing, how I teach it, what information are in any of the 20 Feature Articles I've done for Golf Magazine, any of the 104 Videos I have produced for Golf Magazine and, or any of my 8 Retail Videos including PGA Instructional Series, or basic questions about where you can work with me, where you can come see me at a seminar or golf school, this will be your place. If you want help with your teaching or game, and you want detailed information about what we and you can do to make it better, and you want the latest scientific findings on the swing, Golf Wise Guys is your place.

I will have a zero tolerance policy on these new guidelines.

    Thanks for your support,

Great decision. No one has put up with more inane attacks than this site. I have been on it since 2006 and am tired of all the armchair theorists who never gave thousands of hour lessons for twenty bucks per. I am a better golfer now than ten years ago because of bmanz.

I, for one, appreciate all the information and wisdom that this site has provided over the years. Thank you, Brian.
