Default Back swing separate upper body from lower body.

Does anybody know a drill that will help me to separate lower body from upper body in the back swing AND the forward swing?

Right now my hips are turning at the same time my shoulders do going back.

The 1st thing you need to know is that the upper body SHOULD MOVE faster than the lower. That has a good bit to do with the difference.

Secondly, using the ground correctly will aid this difference (I don't like the idea of the word "separation."

Step on your right foot early and then push up toward your right ear.

Then start to push off that right foot late in the backswing.
"All you have is the HUB PATH and the force and torque you apply to the club—that's the whole swing."
