    Default "Deeper" backswing

I feel like my swing is too up and down and not "deep" enough. I do not feel like I have any room to properly get through the ball. Is there a way to get my backswing deeper or rounder so I can get some room?

A tip I was given that helped was to hit ball off a sidehill lie, ball above the feet, then tri to recreate that feel.

Something else that helps me is to think of the ball being "out there" in front of me, as opposed to "down there", below me.

Thanks for replying Bigwill. If my weight is staying in the middle of my back foot and not moving to the heel would that make me too up and not enough around?

I dunno. Seems like that would be the case.

Getting into your right heel with the weight on the inside of your right foot is critical to engaging your gluts to set you up for a powerful move back to the ball
