Mr. Kelley himself did not use the elbow plane. Neither Jack nor Tiger. It is more what works best for the individual. Most Elbow planners double plane shift.

Tiger from every footage i have every seen of him uses the elbow plane on the downswing; his backswing has changed over time but downswing always elbow

The head drop makes it appear to be on the elbow plane but TSP since an early age!

Tiger's Sweet Spot Balance for the Down Swing.

Here you guys go....

I know it is 2-D and it might be off a bit but if you draw a line form the ball in picture #5 to where Tiger has the sweet spot balance set for the down swing you will have another plane line to look at. Again looking in 2-D form that angle it looks like Tiger has the sweet spot balanced slightly off but it might be right on in 3-D.
