    Kerr on Wie

“I don’t like the way she’s swinging at it,” Kerr said. “It’s just way too technical, trying to be way too perfect. David (Leadbetter) is a great teacher, but whatever path they’re on, I just don’t like it.” Kerr went on to say that she played with a 12-year-old Wie and found it beautiful to...

Driver: Hooks/pulls when trying to cut it

I tend to hook/pull the ball when trying to cut my driver. I aim left and swing on that path. Any other adjustments or a different method to try?

    D-plane question

I know you need to aim left for irons and right for woods to hit it "straight." 2 questions: 1. Are you aiming your whole body left/right or just feet? 2. Are you swinging along your feet line or the target line?

    Luke Donald's swing

Interesting video of LD's swing. Three parts; 1st part bunker, 2nd driver, 3rd iron. They track the swing on its way down. Interesting to see how much he releases right from the top all the way thru Luke Donald's swing by RLX Edited Version - YouTube

    ANother chipping question

Was practicing yesterday and found out that the club was much further back in my stance than I thought (and wanted). I thought it was in the middle but not even close to that. I started to set up to the club and not the ball and got aligned better. Found the same thing with my putting too. What...

    Release and length of club

Is there a rule of thumb on how much out and tumble there should be with each club? I assume the longer the club the more out you need before the tumble? That said, the only reason your arc is longer is because of club length. Your hands do not get any wider so if you are moving the hands...

    Gain yards

Played tonight and hit a few monster irons. Usual 7 iron is 155 and I hit it 165. 9 iron usually about 125-130 and I hit one 140. Hit a wedge 130. All trying the tumble. Anyone gain distance like this?

    Simplifiy the backswing

I hate thinking about moves in back swing. It leads to tension and lack of feel. I wish I could find a simple BS thought or move to eliminate these thoughts from my action. Any thoughts/suggestion?
