    NHA up the wall

Okay, so in trying to cure my underplane inside out swing, I spent an hour at the range today. With the up the wall backswing, I hit about 90% hozzle rockets, and 10% pulls. Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

Has anyone used a force plate system like the Sam BalanceLab to work on proper weight shift and pivot? Just curious. It seems like when my footwork is good everything else falls into place. And vice-versa. SAM Science&Motion - Overview

    anti pop-out drill?

To keep myself from taking the club back outside, I've been putting another ball behind the one I'm hitting and trying not to touch it either taking it back or coming through. Sort of like Brian's drill of having another ball inside and on the target line and trying to hit it on the follow...

    Clarification on shoulder turn?

Some time ago I believe Brian mentioned that whether you're using pivot contolled hands or hands controlled pivot, the hands still pull the shoulders into position at the top of the backswing. I wasn't able to find the post. So, first, if someone else remembers it, please direct me. Second...

tracing straight plane line with the putter?

I've been missing putts to the right. I put a laser on my putter shaft and found that I'm tracing a straightline going back, but that after impact it points out to the right. The problem is that when I do trace a straight line both back and through, I pull/hook the putt pretty severely...

    Beer motion?

I'm a recovering bps'er (below the plane syndrome). Some of my difficulty seems to come not enough up and improper motion with the right elbow: it gets too much behind me. I've recently tinkered with adding some up to the backswing by trying to get my right elbow to move more or less in the...

    A couple twistaway questions

I have a hard time not flipping but find a little twistaway really helps prevent this. So, first, can someone explain why this is? I'm not sure I understand the mechanics of it very well and would like to have at least "some idea of what I'm doing." Second, I find that I do a bit...

    Hands inside, clubhead outside

I'd appreciate any help in how to make this move. Whenever I try to avoid pop-out and get my hands moving on an inside arc, I get the clubhead behind my hand. And that ain't good. Thanks.

BM wrote a few days ago defining mashing: "Mashing" with the upper body. "Mashing" - Really banging down on the ball. "Mashing with the upper body" - Using the upper body, at least somewhat diving into the ball, to assist with the mash, instead of using proper tilts, rotation, hand & club...
