Thats because the pound is worth about a buck twenty right now.

Don't we feel sorry for all the europeans who win in the states and get a lesser winners purse? LOL. Just paid 2.38 a gallon for gas- love it. Can't wait for three bucks soon.

Greetings 6bee1dee (Star Wars fan, right?) ---

I just bought a Euro Pack for my daughter who is heading to London and Paris with her school next week. 120 bucks for 100 euros + fees. Of course we are nervous about the timing of the trip.

Star Wars?
Yeah, it has a special place in my heart and too many on this forum. Yoda teaches us golf (inside joke). My screen name actually comes from a section of the book, The Golfing Machine- 6-b-1-d, a reference to something the author, Homer Kelley calls Extensor Action.

I enjoy your posts and the way you keep us informed about tournaments. Thank You.
Keep it up.

6bee1dee, please dont be nervous about your daughter visiting this little island I call home, right now London is coming to terms with what those mad men did, and London has been through worse, by the sound of it you would not want to pay what we do for petrol(gas). Hope your daughter enjoys London, be sure to tell her to remind the French who got the Olympics!!!

I'm not, Mrs 6b is. I'm more concern about Paris --- hahahaha.

This is a trip I hope changes my teenager to work harder in school. We are all excited for her.

Ian, thanks for the post. mike
