I would like to report on my visit with Brian last week in New Orleans for a "Manzella Special". I am a PGA Class A Professional and have been in the golf business for 11 years. I view teaching and learning the game as the heart of the golf business. I have bought most of Brian's videos, watched all of his youtube videos, and have read alot of excellent information in this forum.

The bottom line is if you have a chance to visit Brian in person - DO IT! He knows his stuff and he will help anyone's game, period. After being around Brian for just two days I realize that I do help people with their game, but if Brian had worked with those people he would have them much further down the road and would have produced more positive changes. This is what he can do for any of you, I am 100% positive.

So, save your pennies and nickels, quit buying gimmick teaching aids and the such, and go find Brian and get some real help. If I had one thing I wish I could change about my trip it is that I didn't devote enough time to the short game. Make sure and spend ample time on this aspect. Brian has a wealth of information on the short game and there is alot to work on, but it will help improve your scores fast.

Fairways and Greens,

Joey

2nd that

I completely agree with hammer3612, I am also a PGA member and have been for 12 years and have been in the golf business for 17 years, worked for guys at some of the top clubs in the country, read and studied the golf swing, been to teaching seminars, taken lessons from top 100 instructors, played golf for a living, given many lessons over the years, and this site, Brian, and his staff of instructors have the best information, communicate it concisely through videos and in the forum, but mostly, make it FUN to learn. I have purchased Softdraw 1.0, Confessions of a Former Flipper, Building Blocks, and Never Hook Again and I urge anyone visiting this site to look no further for information about the golf swing. Brian has alot of information that no one else has and knows how to get you to do it, today!

Thanks Brian and all your staff!

Matt

Joey,

Great post. I too am a PGA Member and went to see Brian and Michael Jacobs in Long Island. I have been reading the posts of all the people that have been commenting on their success and have related it to mine.

I went US Open weekend and had a blast and learned a ton. My game immediately improved and more importantly my understanding of my swing improved and I understood what my misses were and how to correct them. My teaching has improved too with the insight to how Brian and Michael worked with me and the other students that weekend.

The other day I went out with one of my students for a nine hole playing lesson and I hit all but one fairway and all but one green. It felt like I had control of my swing, the shape of the ball, everything. Even my short game was good because on the one green I missed I got up and down. I didn't hit bombed drives or super long irons, I just golfed my ball and it felt great. (I wished I didn't have to go back into the shop!)

I agree, everyone that wants to learn about this game should try to get to Brian or Michael or at least one of his Academy Staff. And all of the PGA Members that have an opportunity should try to get to Washington in October for the Seminar. It will be an opportunity to increase your lesson program!

Thanks again Brian,

Steve Greffen
