I believe he is referencing the world rankings for players who are supposedly S&Ters

Eric Axely
Dean Wilson
Will McKenzie
Charlie Wi
TA3
Baddely
Troy Matteson

Chip- sorry for the lack of clarification, I agree it wasn't a very clear post, though it kinda of proves my point that nobody is really paying attention

Eric Axley world ranking in 2006 was 194, today it's at 608
Dean Wilson goes from 72nd in the world to 340

I don't mean to imply that these guys haven't gotten any value out of the S&T pattern, I'm sure they both feel they have. Why else would they have written such strong testimonials?

Talk about the proof being in the pudding. That's a pretty strong trend.

If we want to be 100% factual, then we would have to look at all of their stats to determine what exactly is responsible for their decline. No pudding yet... just some scattered ingredients.

True. I'm not saying it would hold up in court or anything, but you have to admit that there is a strong correlation there.

Yes, but it works the other way as well. So far that camp blames personal and "other" things for declines but is quick to claim them when they win, although someone like Axley was number one in putting the week of the Texas Open or whatever he won.

That seems to happen a lot. I remember when Jeff Quinney was in contention at the FBR/Phoenix Open, and his teacher/method was getting a lot of credit, even though he was leading the tournament in putting.

...and then sniped one on #17 to fall out of contention...

what's the story

I can understand one or two guys having personal problems, injuries, etc...
but
come on, look at the downward slide these guys have made the last few years.
I'd love to hear the explanation.
maybe they just aren't doing the follow through correctly
(my understanding is that is why Bads jumped ship on them, got tired of trying to get the S&T followthrough)
No question that they've helped out some guys initially, but who has continued to improve?
