4 Magic Moves

I reread Joe Dante's book last night and it got me thinking. He advocates essentially doing 4 things correctly to produce a good golf swing.

If you had to 'prescribe' 4 'magic' moves most likely to produce a high quality golf swing, what would they be and why?

Start the swing with your feet, have some slack at the top, take your hands on a path inside the ball, jump as the handle moves left.

Why? Because some people a helluva lot smarter than me say so.

A good golf swing is a flowing, athletic motion similar to these other athletic motions:

That would be Morad Cp / Inline pattern
Do you have any scholarly papers discussing the role of centripetal force in the golf swing? It's my understanding there's no true center in the golf swing. Centripetal acceleration refers to a force acting towards a center. Without a true center how can you have centripetal force?

sorry im pretty new to the forum and im not up to date on the terminology. hope you dont mind but could you explain whats involved in step , pull back, run up etc.

Could you elaborate on hand path?

Start the swing with your feet, have some slack at the top, take your hands on a path inside the ball, jump as the handle moves left.

Why? Because some people a helluva lot smarter than me say so.

Kevin, would you mind giving additional detail on hand path? Specifically, what so you mean exactly by "inside the ball"? It seems to me that the hands are still well inside the ball on even a badly OTT downswing. Sorry for my confusion and thanks.

There was a thread here just a day or two ago on hand path. Took awhile for solid answers, but look at the last 2 pages
http://www.brianmanzella.com/forum/golfing-discussions/14597-my-hands-want-go-towards-ball.html

You are right that for OTT the hands would be inside the ball, but so what? As that thread mentioned, there was/is some confusion about where the hands do go, and KS is saying, in effect, not towards the ball. :)

YOU DO NOT EVER EVER WANT YOUR HANDS TO GO AT THE BALL IN THE GOLF SWING.

PERIOD.

geez....

Brian/DBL, thanks for your assists. I believe I understand exactly what is needed - the line transcribed in space by the downward travel of your hands should point inside the ball, not at it, and certainly not beyond it.
