#9 - How to Look Like Brian's Logo & More

Look at the logo. From the Logo man's perspective, if he is looking down at his arms at that particular moment, does his right arm appear to him to be closer to his body than his left arm?

Does this mean that at impact, you can see a gap between the bent right arm and the straight left arm if you were standing behind the player looking down the line? One big problem I think I have had is having my shoulders too open at impact (which makes it *impossible* to hit down).

Thanks Brian, I like it.

Sometimes when you're posing the right forearm being on plane at impact, it's a bit under plane...probably due to 'perverted pitch basic stroke elbow'.

Sorry, couldn't keep this to myself...the whole point of dowels is that they don't have a sweetspot. If you want a sweetspot, then guess what...yes that's right, use a golf club! No clubhead or sweetspot makes it easier to focus on the critical alignments of the hands and On Plane Right Forearm, instead of trying to manipulate the clubhead. Of course, golf is played with a sweetspot, but it's a drill. With dowels, the tip of the dowel is the sweetspot, because the longitudinal center of gravity passes through it.

Brian,

I just got the video and looked at it. It occurred to me that this was my problem a while back, not tilting enough to get my right forearm on plane. I found that the PowerAngle Pro allows you to get that feeling from the top quite easily. Weird looking thing but it really allows you to feel the first move back from the top. You may want to add that one to your site too.

Kevin
