Here is a little clip of Lindsay Gahm, who many of you on the forum have sort of watched grow up through some videos of her on the site.

She is from Louisville, Kentucky, and her Dad, uncles, and grandfather, built Valhalla, later selling the course to the PGA of America.

I started off teaching one of her brothers Brett, and soon was teaching the whole family. The first time she came out for the last 5 minutes of a family lesson she was 7.

She always had a lot of talent, but we held off pushing her toward golf. She was a very talented basketballer, and horse jumper, and really didn't concentrate on golf full time until she was 15. Her dad Gordy played golf and basketball at Dayton, and was really smart not over traveling her to every possible junior event.

She got a full scholarship to Indiana, and was Big Ten Freshman of the year and all-conference. But, it is cold playing golf in the Big Ten, and she wanted to compete for a National Championship.

So, she transferred down here to LSU, to be closer to me, to get to a 12 month golf season, and to compete for titles.

So far, so good.

She played all year for LSU, and they just barely lost out in the NCAAs held outside of Nashville. Our own "niblick" went out to gallery her and was very impressed.

This appeared on NCAA.com, and the goofy people in the background are me and Lisa, pulling for our favorite college and our favorite lady golfer.

The tourney was held on a course about 5 minutes from my house. Wish I had known you were in town. As a Bama alum and Tide Pride member, I enjoyed watching our girls hang on to win the title. And it was good to see LSU finish strong to give the SEC two of the top three teams
My son aspires to play college golf so it was a treat to expose him to the talent, ball striking and nerve-racking tension those goes with tournament golf at that level. It was impressive to witness in person.

She looks like a real athlete, the DNA is definitely noticeable.

How long has she been belly putting?

Really glad the hug shake has not been adopted by the guys yet.

Soooo sorry for Duke.:p

Belly putting less than a month!

I agree with granato looks like a real athlete. Is she plannig to LPGA after LSU?

She will take a go a it for sure.

I really like the position of the right leg, seems like the power players get that "look".

There are lots of ways to swing the club, release the club, hold the club but if you can work out that impact position your likely going to hit the ball very well.

I bet hitting free throws under the gun helped her with that, and other, 4 rooters. Testament to having kids play multiple sports. Hate the specialization trend
