A great view: what a good setup, ball-position, and twistaway looks like

I didn't see any twistaway in those swings. I did find it interesting that it looks like he played the driver off of his left toe line

as well as his irons. Stance seems very narrow and ball position a bit too much forward...Or is it the camera angle?

In the first video, the 4 iron video, please stop the video at :24 seconds (during the slow-motion replay). Is that not a twist-away? Left wrist flattened, right wrist bent back?

No. Watch NSA, Brian explains twistaway on there.

I'm sure he does something to sqaure the club head, right? He doesn't twistaway at the top of the backswing like NSA suggests, but there must must be some form of twist away in the impact zone. How else would one square the club head?

Anyone else agree?

Good question.

Is there any thought about the body squaring the club head?

Which of Brian's patterns require the least amount of hand/arm action to square the face?

Tiger has a flat wrist at the top in 2000..in 1997 he had a "HINT" of twistaway..similar to Lindsay Gahms swing, but it probably just looks that way due to his deep hand position at "the top".

If there is another way to square the club head I would love to know. The twistaway just feels so awkward to me; takes alot of getting used to. It almost makes me feel like I get a hitch in my swing if I twist at the top.

Sure looks like something is happening with those hands right before impact.
