A setback

All of a sudden my iron play has gone south.

I think I am coming in too steep. My ball tends to upshoot to the right and what is even more depressing is I am getting a yip in my iron swing. I have been skulling a lot of irons and this has caused a yip to try and get down to the ball, but it is ugly.

I assume the steepness is causing the skulls, but other than changing my aiming point what can I do?

I really need to try and take the hands out of my swing. I want to use pivot mostly. The hands just aren't holding up on big shots.

I asked Brian about what I beleive is an inherent "hitters" problem a page or two back.....I feel if you try to "drive" PP1 (righthand heel) you will develop "slack in accum#4 (leftarm/shoulder) on the way back down.......

for me, its back to vijays glove in the left arm pit, trying to have extensor action keep it there on the way back, and the light bump and pivot keep accum#4 pressure for the downstroke

Just have to be patient at the top/ transition, get some stability and consistency from the pivot/bump at the top...
