Ace #3

A couple years ago, at the Lake Presidential Tour Stop, we were playing the 3rd Hole. Brian's second shot ended up in the left straw. A nasty Maryland lie. I said something he can tell you. Smiling bright, he hit it, and I said, "It's in." It hit the pin and landed stone, for birdie.

Later, he said, "Smilin' is better than cryin'."

PS I believe it was a borrowed wedge and a range ball.

Just found this one last year. I am in love with the 10 yr cask strength!

Finally, we get onto a topic on this forum I know something about.

If you haven't tried the Signatory Nonchillfiltered single vintage versions of Laphroig (and other single malts as well) check them out. Sold in a silver can, these single malts don't have coloring added to them and are nonchillfiltered, both of which are big deals when it comes to purity of taste. Also, because people want the bottle they recognize, the Signatories often cost less even though, to my taste, they are much better.

And, Brian, congrats on the ace! Sadly despite all the years of golf I have put in I am still at zero on my personal count.
