First of all, I owe Brian and some others an apology(mainly Brian) for calling Brian arrogant on here a few weeks ago. I realize now that he is just very passionate about what he does and believes in his ability to teach, nothing wrong with that.
With that said, I have been hitting the ball as good as I ever have since coming on the forum and just lurking, not even asking questions or watching the videos(which I just ordered the "flipper" video just haven't figured out how to download it).
Anyway, I have been taping my swing and while it looks pretty good, I noticed I am across the line at the top sometimes with the face slightly shut. What would be the cause of this and what can I do to fix it? I also notice that although Brian said one time in reference to Hardy's DP vs. SP swings that no pros actually swing their shoulders and arms on the same plane and I would agree, but I am doing that very thing and was wondering what problems this could lead to. So, 3 questions about my swing:
1. across line at top
2. shut face
3. steep shoulder turn matches arm plane
By the way, a little about my game, I hit my driver about 290-300, slight fade, irons fairly long and high with a draw, 9-iron, 145, 6-iron, 190 and like I said have hit the ball better than ever just watching Brian's swing and reading info on here. Thanks for any help and am very eager to learn more.
