adressing off the toe

Does someone have a good rational/explanation when or why it would be appropriate to address the ball of the toe of the clubface in a full swing?
I been reading some golf reference/instruction book and seems players such as G Knutson and G Norman does that as part of these preshot routine. I see some modern day pro players do this. Brian has suggested this in the "hitting the Driver on the nose". List goes on

With the Driver, the Ball is up in the air on a tee. Take your address with the Driver with the
ball centered horizontally relative to the clubface. Now raise the clubhead to simulate impact.
See what happens? The horizontal alignment moves toward the heel. If, instead, you start out
with the alignment slightly toward the toe, then you will compensate for this phenomenon.

Nice theory, but I have tried it, and can't detect much difference. I must already have a learned
compensation built into my swing.

Can't comment on non-teed up situation.

Steve, makes sense to me, thank you for the reply.
So you are saying this compensation is for teed up situation for driver. because teeing up would favor a off heel strike more.
How about if the ball is in a divot would the reverse be true? address off the heel of the club to compensate an off toe strike?

The other reason, I would think, would be to compensate for any centrifugal-like force during the downswing which tends to pull the club further from the body. Of course, you can train yourself to counteract that force using an opposing force.

Dude, there pulling forces in all swings. So are you saying we should all be addressing off the toe?
Most golfers don't. Some even address of the heel, when you state that train yourself to counteract c-force it sounds you feel it is almost unatural not to adress of the toe.
