Anatomy of a Trackman shank?

Brian, Kevin and other Trackman users,

Have you recorded the typical path and true face numbers of enough shanks to be able to give us a reliable breakdown of what's going on at impact?

What's more common very in-to-out paths, +ve angles of attack and open faces or steep out to in paths?

Could you also confirm how Trackman mesaures the angle of attack? Brian described it once before as the degress above the equator as the clubhead impacts the ball but then a few days later posted a slow-mo shot of impact with a wedge and it clearly looked as though the ball was hit below the equator with the hands in front of the clubhead.

Thanks for any help,

James

Ive seen several good players and bad players shank some shots and all of them have had a LOW plane Angle, but have been swinging too much left and too much down, winding up lagging the hosel with no room at the ball
