Angled vs. Horizontal Don't Make No Difference

OK . . . so Dr. Zick proves that Angled Hinging and Horizontal Hinging don't effect ball behavior.

No beef with that . . .

Since that is now invalid . . .

What's the best way to move the club? Do you want the toe rolling around or do you want it "quiet?"

What's the best Hinging from a "practical" stand point.

"Just call it whatever is actually is"

I am on a mission to remove unnecessary jargon from golf instruction.

If you want someone to "keep the clubface square to the plane—or to the path—" just say so.

I have no problem with the term "Angled Hinging," but the definition turns out to be wrong, and everyone will just argue for days about what someone said or meant.

I teach a decent amount of golfers to "no roll" if they need it.

A lot of 'em need it. A lot need to "full roll."

Call it what is.

The REASON real golfers get a different effect from "so-called" Angled Hinge Action, is they are PREPARING to have the face more open at some point PAST THE BALL, so they have the face more open AT THE BALL.

See, the truth will set you free. But you can't market it unless you can really teach—all golfers.
