Anyone Watch The Tourney In Dubai?

Tiger lost by like 2 strokes or w/e.....pretty right in there....

But I just heard on Golf Central he said he had his worst putting week in a really long time.

(I had a little explosion in my brain)

Anyone watch this thing?

He serious?.....or full of BS?

Over the 4 rounds, I reckon he averaged about 1/8 for 10 footers a round. Usually, he would be ~40% or so from that range. So yeah... his putting has not been his usual, world leading standard.

He missed a 2 short puts on the 10th and 11th (i think) for bogeys and then one on the 16th. (i only caught his back 9 that day, but hole 2 of those 3 putts and he is in a playoff)

He really has been struggling for distance control this year with his approaches. He seems to be leaving himself alot of long putts.

Basically, he looks a touch rusty.

Looked to me as if he was having trouble reading the putts. He had a few times when he looked back at the putt as if thinking, "I was sure that was the right line."...

Good going by Ross Fisher though. Held his own for most of the tournament with the big boys. Good luck to him...

Stenson (the winner) was really having putting woes. He missed a bunch of putts inside 4 feet. He could easily have won by 5-6 shots.

Els also missed a lot of putts, those greens are hard to read apparently.
