Apex #4 vs. True Temper

Does anyone here actually know how the two shafts compare to each other? I've read reviews where people have complained that the Hogan Apex #4 shaft isn't really stiff, and say it's more like a regular True Temper shaft. Then I had one of the guys in the golf shop at a course that I play some times telling me that the Apex #4 was SOOOO stiff compared to a True Temper stiff shaft. I certainly trust the knowledge in this forum more than about 99% of what I hear around the golf course, so I'd like to hear if anyone here actually knows the truth about this shaft.

This could be wrong but I once had someone tell me the Apex shafts were like TT Dynalite Golds. Softer in the tip compared to Dynamic Golds.

straight from Hogan 5 years ago when i ordered my blades from them " The Apex 4 plays like a s-400 True Temper Dynamic Gold.

I have an apex 4 in my hybrid. It's not that stiff. I have rifle 6.0s in my irons, and a dg S 300 (maybe 400) in my currently unloved 3 wood - the dg is quite a bit stiffer than the apex. the apex 4 is the whippiest club i own.
