Whilst working on the ‘triangle’ I generated this figure of the vector display of the forces acting through the various joints when acted upon by a central torque. I thought that some might appreciate its intriguing artistic quality. ;)

Speaking of arts

I like it and will probably put it on my desktop for a while
:)

Since the topic of the arts has been raised.
I know many of the players from the 40s' and 50's were musicians and Snead talked some about humming a waltz while playing.

What music would you choose to accompany this (or would you) and do you hum or listen to any music before/while playing... What is your golf music?

Brian seems to like a little New Orleans Jazz (on the videos anyway)

FloydPT38,

I associate the figure with abstract church stained glass windows and see myself readily in an old medieval peaceful gothic cathedral hearing simple but powerful melodies produced by a multitude of ringing church bells. ;)

Can you do an L-shaped membrane?

Once a very tough problem, now solved on any home computer with only a few lines of codes. ;)

music and golf

FloydPT38,

I like the imagery of the stained glass- bells seem a bit harsh to me but that could also be because I mostly hear loud - slightly out of tune ones.

My favorite music - relating to golf are
O man greatly beloved -Vaughan Williams: Dona Nobis Pacem- very good to get one feeling stable and to make a great backswing.

Sleeping Beauty Waltz by Tchaikovsky - slows me down - I see snead's swing plus it's my daughter's favorite

I have the touch - Peter Gabriel - Let's me imagine I have a super short game.

After looking at the figure you generated I think it does look more like a waltz-interesting.
