Backswing and twistaway help

Let me first say this is the most wonderful website for golf help I have ever found. I need some advice. I have been working on the twistaway that Mike Finney showed me. I am having trouble with it in the backswing. When I begin the backswing with the backward wrist break my arms feel really tight. I guess my question is is there a proper way to do apply the twistaway? Or can it be done with a one piece takeaway ? Should it be armswing take away? Should it be an early move with the hands in the beginning of the swing? I know I am rambling but this website can be somewhat intimidating. I guess the overall question is any hints on when to apply the twistaway in the backswing. Sorry.

More towards the beginning. Would be more difficult to pull off in a one piece type motion.

It feels almost like an early wrist set. So, IMO, the earlier in the swing you twist, the better, at least to start off with.

I'll give that a shot. now I know to leave the one piece takeaway alone. I think I worry too much about the backswing sometimes anyway.

OR, I asked the same question to mike jacobs and he told me to think of left palm down on the backswing. I got to try what sideyard said it sounds good also...

I am up to trying anything. When Mike Finney showed me how open a clubface I was swinging with I couldn't believe it. It is going to take alot of work.

Mike wanted you left palm down with your grip, not in the backswing.
