New to the Forum, I collape my arms at the top of my backswing. Then I'm too narrow and come down over the top and hit a pull. I also pop out my left arm on the takeway the club shaft moves below the plane and behind me. Does anyone have a tip on how to maitain the wedith.

Have you tried extensor action?

Try pushing your left arm away from you with your right arm.

Thanks for the recomindation. When I push with the right thumb pad on the top of the left thumb I keep hitting the ball thin. I'll try to have the feeling of the right arm pushing the left away. Thank again.

Do this drill:

- no club
- make a "thumbs up" with a left hand
- keeping the "thumbs up", let your left arm go dead
- use your right hand to grab your left thumb and make a backswing

Do this a few times to feel more "width" and extension and then try it with a club
