Not a big fan of BADDS, but I really like his putting routine - one look and go. Wish i could trust it enough to do it. ANyone do anything similar?

I think Davis Love has a similar routine. Once he's over the ball, he looks once, then back at the ball and then he pulls the trigger.

That's what I like to do, too.

Ya me too. No time for tons of thoughts. You just have to figure out everything when you're behind the ball....and be sure of your line when you're over it.....helps to have a good routine/aiming routine so you know you're bang-on.

Really there's no reason to stand over it any longer than you need to IMO. Once you're setup and aligned what else is there to do?

I think if you understand the purpose this serves....and if you try it for a bit and it starts working....you'll gain confidence in it.

There is a compelling argument for just trusting your eyes and your instincts. No doubts, no fear.

The more you faff around examining a putt from all angles, plumb bobbing etc., the more doubt you are building in to the process and this only breeds fear of failure.
