Ball Flight

I notice some players ball flight with irons and woods seems to be low to high and penetrating while mine is high.I seem to get the same distance. They seem to be hitting down on their shots but can you give me a drill for doing this?

check your shaft flex and weight - lighter, softer shafts can make a big difference in trajectory. Make sure your shafts fit your swing speed and tempo.

Drill: put a second ball, or headcover, a few inches behind your ball and try to hit low knockdown/punch shots (feel like you are keeping your hands below your beltline at the finish with pitch shots). It can also help to put a tee in front of your ball a little bit and try to clip the tee out after contact.

I notice if I slide a little, I tend to sweep my irons. If my lower body resists the turn, I hit down and through. Is this what you mean?
I presume that players who hit low to high ball trajectories where the ball starts out low then rises are hitting down on the ball with very little lower body shift on backswing. Is this correct?

Yep, answered my own question. The slide was producing higher trajectory; once sliding stopped I went back to hitting low to high crisp shots.
Didn't need your help afterall.
