Ball position in soft draw?

I am working on the soft draw pattern. I notice in the video that Brian seems to be playing the ball well back in his stance. Is there a proper way to approach ball position with each club in the bag when using soft draw? For example, where would you position the driver? Where would you position a pitching wedge?
