Ball Spinners

I'm assuming you are referring to the gadget that spins the ball to find the true balance point. Yep, I bought one last winter out of boredom. Use it most of the time. Does it help?? Don't know. My scores are better this year but so is my swing, short game, putting etc. due to using TGM as my basis of practice and playing. One suggestion if you get it----do NOT use the black marker to mark the ball while it is spinning, use a pencil. Then mark perhaps 1 inch with the marker and erase the pencil lines. I ruined a dozen ProV's that now look like range balls!

I hear you there. I've got one also. The marker couldn't make a nice line if it's life depended on it. Funny how the box shows a nice line. The only problem using something else is that the pencil isn't the same diameter of the hole so you have to try your best to get it in the center. I was thinking about just giving up on the thing and just drawing a line.

Mine works just fine: and while the line it draws is subject to the dimples, by using minimum pressure with the pencil, it serves its purpose of defining the equator. It is not intended to draw architecturally perfect lines but TO locate the center of balance.
