I watched Doyle's tape again last night, and like the little yellow book, new nuggets are still being unearthed. I have been right forearm pickuping like a madman, and have forgetten, or outrun, the work of the pivot. He loves to have students swing a club against a raised ledge of a sand trap without the club rebounding. He says "tighten those buns." Anywho, last night I went out to my sidewalk to do some edging with a 5 iron. What a great feel. It feels like I could break the shaft. It is a slower, heavier feel. I call this the "west coast" tgm. Yoda, chuck are "east coast" hand-controlled pivot guys. Doyle and Mchatton are the Tupac and Snoop of tgm. Yoda and chuck are Biggie and 50cent. So like I say to my wife, "Baby, you east coast or west coast?"
