Does anybody know which pattern in Brian's mattrix would be the most "back friendly" I have all his video's but I didnt know if one would be easier on the lower back over another.

Thanks

If you have back problems you probably have limitations when it comes to maintaining side bend as you unwind. You also probably have difficulty back extending fast / enough from last parallel to finish. The golfer with these limitations does well to adapt an aim right / straight pull pattern. The aim right gives you some built in side bend and the pull is the golfer "taking it out " through the shot.

Thanks Richard, so are you thinking the "Soft Draw" pattern would be a good option?

Well said, i was going to say have fanofsnead swing just like him...aim right, pull it, and call it a day.

thanks guys.... Sam never had back problems and played good golf for a long time so that makes sense.

From what I recall he took the club back inside and returned it over the shaft plane of the BS, which created the pull....let me know if thats
not correct. I guess the pull could have also come from the closed stance too?

Sam was also SUUUUUUPER flexible which is probably why he didn't have a bad back, i've read numerous people who've said he could kick his leg up straight up towards his head into his 70's

came from both, he aimed right took it inside toward his feet line and came a bit over that and pulled it back (from where he aimed).
