Daytona is always action packed.
But,
My favorite is match play 4 ball (best ball) with caveats. The caveats (dots) are: both partners birdie same hole, 3 birdies in a row by 1 member of team, and any five hole stretch of par or better by any player - for every stroke below par you add an additional dot.
We usually play for $20 a hole and the caveats which a represented in dots are worth $10. If you guys are truly evenly matched, no one can lose more than $50-$70
Half the cash for medal, half for skins, C-note bonus for no bogies
A fun game my step-dad and his group used to play - regular Nassau bet for however many units and presses as agreed upon. In addition, each hole paid one unit for birdie, one unit for closest to the hole in regulation and one unit for low total score per team. If all three "extra" units were won, they were doubled. Usually kept the matches very spirited and each player grinding on each hole - especially if the extra unit number was weighted up a little.
