Thanks Paul.

Folks, Paul is a young guy that loves golf and golf forums. He has found a home here, and like everyone else who is an active posters AG (After CarolGalleyz), are folks who like this site, and the infomation on it, and even the little-Itallian-fellow that runs it and keeps all of you entertained and one-step ahead of the pack.

I don't recruit students, posters, friends, hatchet men, fans, proteges, or fans.

They find me.

Paul is one of them, and around these parts, we love him dearly.

Thanks again Paul. See you in Chicago!:D

Brian man.....thanks. :)

3000.....I am a maniac......and maybe manic too......

Best info. around tho baby.....I learn something everyday. And not JUNK. (to take a word from The Manzella Dictionary)

...

Chicago- soon as there's any word on dates (and I know you are one busy Italian)......I will try to haul my Canadian ass down there.

BTW....as for what I've accomplished with respect to my golf game in 3000 posts.....

I've learned a good amount......thru my own experimentation as well as the stuff on here.........

No trophies to show for it.....yet....

But like I said I am a maniac.....and a perfectionist........and I'm really really thorough........and kind of compulsive......and because of all that- I take forever to do everything.

A lot of the time I don't tend to settle on these kind of things (and especially golf) unless I feel everything's in place.........and it isn't yet. Maybe I'm too much that way....maybe not.....oh well.

Reminds me of yesterday tho acutally.....

I was talking to a buddy about tattoos. With his latest one, he basically strolled into the shop and picked one on the spot. Boom- "Put it there on my forearm." OK done. It blew my mind a bit tho because I'm the exact opposite......I don't have a tattoo- but if I wanted one I would sit and think and draw and design forever to make sure that I'd be satisfied with what I'm getting.

And if the artist screwed anything up....even a little bit.....I would prolly want to cut my damn arm off. (ack!!)

...

Brian has said before he'd change everything tomorrow if it wasn't right....I'm the same way and really that's exactly how I work. Constant state of change.

And really.....maybe I do get too into tinkering. But....that's me. I'll settle when I am settled and satisfied I guess.

...

For the people who may want to see the hard numbers.....I don't have any hard numbers per-se.......but if I DID settle on my (so-far) best way I've found to play I'm pretty confident I would be around scratch........

....

For me tho the bottom line is I know I eventually will get as good as I can at golf. That's the bigger goal. And I don't just sit at computers BTW.....I have a club in my hand every single day......even in winter.

If it's winter....aside from the dome.....I could easily spend (and too many times have spent) more than an hour just in my garage chipping around on the carpet....looking at the glass (BTW I'm not doing my hair ;))......swinging..............etc. etc. doing whatever.

In the summer....if it's not the course it's my backyard. (can easily spend an hour or a few.....and have too many times to count.....fairly big backyard to golf in)

I'm a bit of a nutcase. (and BTW yes I do get out :D)

....

Anyhoo- that's enough about me........(I figured someone may have asked anyhow)........

.......again- best golf site around. Best host around.

Thanks again Brian.
