Block and Hook

New
bad shots lately have been a big block (always been my bad shot) and a pull hook.
Block feels like I am standing up and club gets under plane while the hook feels like my pivot stops and the club flips.

To help get rid of these I have been thinking about the position of the clubhead and/or left wrist on way down: should the clubhead or wrist stay parallel to the plane on the way down? Thinking about the picture of the Pane of Glass in Hogan's book and having LW/CH staying parallel to that pane to and past impact.

You are below the turned shoulder plane on the backswing, get your backswing much more "up" and less "in."

Feel like you are making a scott hoch backswing.

I am also on the "lot more up - lot less in" from my lesson with Brian and Damon in Baltimore on the 11th.

Christie Kerr is not a bad model to use and she is much better looking the Scott.
