Body and hands in sync?

In order to strike the ball well, must the body(hips) and hands be in sync. Lately, I've been hooking quite a bit and it seems to me that I'm so focused on my hands that my hips aren't rotating enough. When I focus on making sure I'm rotating my hips toward the target I seem to get a much better strike. I know I've read a lot about hands controlled pivot, but it just doesn't seem to work for me, any thoughts or ideas??

To me---and I may be the only one---it means HANDS AND BODY turn back and through together, one in front of the other....

But it may just be me....

I would agree, that it's the hands and body turning together. I've read quit a bit that seems to indicate that if the hands are in the right place everything else should take care of itself. Brian, do you consciously think about the rotation of your hips, or just focus on the hands?

The hands should be "Educated" enough to stop thinking "for" or about them. Thinking too much can kill any golf swing, another good reason to have them closer to the action, the hands, but I feel like I (sub?)consciously think about the pivot, the rotation of the hips, at least till its grooved.
Lately I feel like my left foot screws countewrclockwise into the ground as my hips rotate with a nice squat. Only after that do I expect my hands to fire to impact. Its just a feeling but has helps cure the OTT move.

Rhythm... per 6-B-3-O "The Turning Rate of the Pivot Components--especially the Shoulder Turn as actuated by Hip Action (7-15)--MUST be identical and synchronous with the #3 Accumulator Roll, else its Rhythm gets disrupted." Synchronous/Sync
