Had a great lesson with Brian in Chicago today. Also met Richard Franklin from Lake Forest.
Worked on less laid off backswing, back to the target starting down, one last point, and some short game.
It'll be a challenge to make some changes we talked about, but Brian fixed my angle of attack and resultant path almost instantly.
Things I learned:
Manzella-ism "running down the fairway" = too much turn too early in the downswing.
Smash factor on a pitch shot should be = 1
If you show up to a tour stop with old clubs, you're going to get ripped on. (Sonartec fairway woods, 905T driver, I deserved it)
Brian, thanks again for making time for me and everyone you see on tour. I'll be watching for another Chicago stop next summer!
