People really should take the time and watch these videos over a few times because they are always packed with details.

no way to catch all the good stuff in there in one viewing

brian's videos are OK.....

but when compared to the rest of the field, it's like he's making Apocalypse Now and the rest are producing Snakes on a Plane.....

content and substance

Did anyone notice Kuch doing that OTT/swing left move in some of his practice swings like Tiger also does? They'll all be doing it soon. It's in one of Brian's old videos - the hurdle drill in "4 tips...". Presumably this makes sure they're getting "in front" of their backswing on the way down?

Cory Pavin used to do that too. Lots of guys that get too inside out really.

The more often guys with different looking back swings win on tour the more regular golfers may start to wonder why and how it's possible to be successful with non traditional looking movements.

Perfect opportunity for the cream of the crop, best of the best, instructors to rise to the top of the instruction world

by explaining, in a simple manner, why the unusual look works for a certain individual.

No more snakes on a plane....please

I remember Peter Alliss commentating on that along the lines of "there's that strange practice swing of Pavin's that bears no resemblance to his actual swing".

I suppose "blending" or "sequencing" the 2 moves as powerfully as possible are the "core" of a golf swing.

This is a good video which shows the ability to see how all kinds of different methods can work.

His method though requires a lot of athleticism, IMO when that right elbow gets low and deep it gets much harder to get the club out in front of you. Works well for him, especially on a course like that.

Its great for fooling people, I have found several people saying Tiger is now swinging OTT and that's why he is hitting a hook.

Pre Foley with his (shorter) irons I used to think he was going OTT but, now vaguely understanding D Plane, he was probably trying to swing more left to hit a straight ball.

Nice video Brian. I hated Kuchar's swing, you really showed the important elements and also how what catches our eye may not in fact be too important. These golf.com videos are really well done.

Just watched a second time and you are right. Stupid ADD.

Saw some guys tearing up the driving range today, massive craters being dug. They were pretty intense both had white belts and were videoing eachother. All I could think of was "They must be working on Snakes On a Plane". Made me laugh the whole day:cool:
