Great Video, if you were to adopt a similar action to this what sort of adjustments would you need to make if hitting out of medium length rough, if any? Would you be approaching too shallow and get a bit tangled up? May just be minor changes or totally different swing as far as I know, would be very interseted in any feedback. Cheers.

Brian, does it matter when you put the hula hoop in the ground? Is it ok to do it on the backswing? Or must it be done at the start of the downswing?

Good players dip down, I think Wayne D has pretty much debunked the steady head in the downswing with his videos.

The information presented in the last couple minutes is very much aligned to what I currently believe is the optimal mechanics.

LOL, what a headline. Sheeeeshhhhh

The obvious "secret move" everyone comments on! Brian at least explains why it works.

Mant greats have lowered the head early in the downswing. Much fewer have raised it again befor impact like Tiger has in recent years. Back further, say in 2000, he did NOT raise before impact.

Qustion for Brian................for a standard iron shot, how far past impact should the shaft line-up vertical?

Curious as to Manz's answer as well, Todd. I would think that because of parallax and depending on the shot that it would be quite variable. Thanks for asking.

I'm going with 3.5 inches. This has become a reliable indicator for optimally descending Attack Angle for me......viewed from face-on with high speed casio. I still often use this measurement even though I've been using a Flightscope X2 every day now for over 2 months.

Was in the middle of the video and asked this question to myself:

"Have you EVER seen a video like this from any other teacher in the world?"

My answer:

"NO"
