Let me know if you see any great fairway woods coming on the market... the eternal search for the 'perfect' 3 wood continues..... drivers are easy, 3 woods are a PITA!

Not the tour issue... but yes, the 200's - WAY too low on the swing/club weight for my tastes..... I like a D4 to D6, steel. I played a 200 for a while, but just couldn't get used to such a light club.... like swinging a feather! I've got a MacGregor at the moment that I picked up cheap.... nothing great about it, but 'decent' (high trajectory though, especially off the tee, and too shallow a face)

I like a deeper face 3 wood than they seem to be making nowdays..... heck, I still get out my persimmon woods and wish I could find that feel, and sound with todays distance and forgiveness....

Way back when Callaway first started making metal woods I bought a prototype Callaway Bobby Jones driver off of a Nike tour player. It looked similar to an original Big Bertha except it was a super deep faced head. I loved that club. Wound up getting stolen along with my Lynx parallax irons. I loved those irons.

Wishon makes a deeper face three wood.
I won't trade my more shallow faced 15 degree Snake Eyes Maraging steel three wood for anything.

I ended up buying a putting aid at the PGA golf show. It was basically 2 balls attached to each other. and u have to have square contact to make it go straight.
Does anybody know....is this a common aid? I showed it to another person, later, and he said that he thought the tool had already hit the market years ago.
What a loser I am if it's already been out there ($20).

There's also a couple of putting lasers, at the show, that you attach to putter. One of them caught my eye. instead of the laser staying on permanently (which I don't like), it turns on intermittently (so you can't cheat). Anybody have an opinion on this? have you seen it before? If I have time, I'm going to go back.

Sorry, been out for a few years. But if it helps, you are a winner. :)
