Summit Speakers Added
Manzella, Suttie and Weeks Highlight Teaching Sessions; Early Bird Discount Ends Next Tuesday

Proponent Group is very pleased to announce that Brian Manzella, Dr. Jim Suttie and Kevin Weeks will be the featured afternoon speakers during our annual Summit at Cog Hill G.&C.C. on September 30 - October 2. On Monday, we will be showcasing the incredible teaching talent based at Cog Hill–starting with Kevin Weeks presenting the putting teaching techniques that are making him a highly noted short-game instructor. Kevin's fellow Cog Hill staff member Doc Suttie, one of the finest teachers of his generation, will focus on full swing skills in his presentation.
On Tuesday afternoon we conclude the summit with Brian Manzella, a leader in the use of new technologies and data collection for teaching the full swing. Brian's presentation is titled: How to Utilize New Ball-flight and Golf Swing Science to Improve your Teaching.

This Summit agenda will feature more speakers, more topics and more practical ideas and solutions to elevate your teaching skills and your business. Apart from the full-length presentations by Kevin Weeks, Jim Suttie and Brian Manzella, our format takes a cue from the incredibly popular TED Talks (www.TED.com), which limits presentations to 18 minutes in length. (We'll be generous and let our speakers go up to 20 minutes, if they need it.)

The idea is to bring more focused ideas to the Summit and let more of our talented members share their expertise. This is where the leaders in golf instruction will be this year and it will be Proponent Group's largest education event in 2012. We highly recommend members plan to attend as there is no other networking and information-sharing event like this for golf instructors.

Here are just some of this year's presentation topics:

 • Keys to Building Your Renewals and Referrals Business
 • How Games Will Speed Your Students' Learning
 • World-class Insights into the Swing, from Dr. Jim Suttie
 • Fresh Ideas on Teaching Putting, from Kevin Weeks
 • The Power of a Pee Wee Instruction Program
 • Training Aids: How to go From Idea to Market
 • The Steps You Can Take to Dominate Your Local Market
 • Why You Should Consider Computer-based Lessons
 • Training the New Competitive Golfer
 • Why You Must be a Method Teacher to Succeed
