Great drill Brian. Hey, is there anyway you can add the download link to your episodes like you do for your other videos? I catch them at work during lunch and can't access Youtube from there.

Great vid.

Keep 'em coming.

I owe this concept to my improved driving last season. The guy in the regular forum that is looking for power should read up on this concept. I went from a poor driver to a basher by working on my KC-Snap. Good vid.

What about the right hip

Recently I was able to hit a drive (without wind influence) 365 yards and several others in the 320 and up range. I have taken a lesson from you also Brian and greatly appreciate what you contribute. the strange thing i thought i figured out was a strong and firm right leg on takeaway. I think it stops a slide and turning of the left hip towards the ball in the backswing.

the funny feeling it gave me on the downswing was that my arms where away and in front of my body. althou i am tall (5'11" and 170 pounds) i do not have the strength to hit the ball that far but i did. it was the first and only time i have ever seen a ball travel that far.

so on the right hip in the downswing i noticed that you alow it to turn freely and with the upper body. I like that because its less to remember but i also thought that it can get in the way of the arms. I would like your thoughts on that. 50% of the tour players (Like tiger) seem to shift left or hold back hip turn until the hands come down to just above hip level.

then the last part i defently agree on is a strong braced left leg. I guess i would know if my plane was off if after completing a swing i felt like i was going to fall over the left leg instead of feeling balanced.

Also i worked on maintaining the spine plane and found it difficult to do if i do not restrict my hips from thrusting forward (towards the ball) on the downswing causing my upper body to straighten up and loose power.
Average drive before working on it was 275.

Glad to see u back in your home state again.

I tried focusing not on the hips and keeping the right hip back as much and just on the left leg being straight in my garage. I noticed it made it easier to keep the spine angle. Will try it tomm. and give an update!
