Though it is a thought that seems to be very popular, most young computer geeks can quickly blow that block and proceed to cut and paste to there little hearts content. There becomes a point to where it is good for this process to be exposed and at ease for the student. I will assure you, all the articles attempting to draw word pictures of what the teacher is trying to convey to the student, will never accomplish what is and must be done, face to face instruction.
I am reminded of the interview that was on one of the news programs. The "Dead" allowed their fans to setup a section at concerts to tape, video all their music. What transpired was concert series which grossed 50+ mil per year. It became a cult following and no matter how many times you attended the concert, the next one was always different and unique. Go figure. Golf is considerably a different elephant than the music business but with the comparison mentioned above, not much. As Homer stated, he could not rely much on what the pros did for every single swing was different. The uniqueness remains the same as that which the "Dead" discovered.
Wow! This turned into a diatribe. Bottom-line? Brian, it does not matter. No blocks. If one steals, who really cares? There are way to many who will not steal, for whom you can up sale into attending face to face, for no matter what you do with words, it will never do the totality of the work justice. They will still grapple trying to fix and comprehend their swing and the immense work of Homer. The preponderance of proof are those who constantly post reflecting on TGM and Homer's work, who miss the big elephant. They get their arms around the leg or the tail, but they fail miserably in getting their arms and hands around the whole elephant. That boys and girls is the difference between the Lead's, Harmon's, Search For the Perfect Swing, Ringer, Perfect Impact, Haney, Smith and the list could become quite long. Homer saw and got his brain around the whole elephant.
I plead, do not fall in the trap of many who preach the protection process. It will fail miserably. They only see the tail, not the whole elephant.
Yikes!!!! Over and out!
