Brian's video instruction and IPODs

Does anyone know how to "load" Brian's video instruction onto an IPOD. This would allow me to take a "live" refresher while at the course.

I know there are some tech savy folks out there.......

If you have a video iPod I think you just have to put the video into your iTunes first and then you can transfer it over.

My daughter has some software (you can download) that will convert for an iPod. Sorry I don't know the specific program but I am at work and she is at school so I can't ask. It will compress the video and allow for transfer through a cable connection to the iPOD. Look online and I'm sure you can find out the name of the software program.

By the way, I do the same thing for my iPAC and use a program called Pocket DVD Wizard. It will compress a DVD size file down to 50 megs or less for viewing. Works great. Handy for planes and such.

Yes, I've done this and I take "tiny brian" with me everywhere I go! Better than "tiny elvis!". I'm not at my Mac right now, or I could give step by step instructions. I'll try to post tonight. You can use iMovie HD (which I did), Quicktime Pro, or the free package call iSquint http://www.isquint.org/. Once you convert the video to .mp4 then drag it to iTunes library. Next time you sync your iPod it will be there.

BTW, If Brian could post his mailing address, I'd be happy to send him a CD-Rom of all seven video shorts already converted for use on an iPod. He can decide how to distribute the videos.

I really enjoy watching the videos on my iPod. They look great, you can see all the detail you could on the computer screen.

I used PQ DVD to iPod video converter. I did it from the DVDs though. Just find a program that will convert to mp4. They look surprisingly good on the iPod.

The BEST one is Quicktime Pro from Apple.

It is $29.95 and runs on either Mac or Windows.

Just import the video and convert for iPod.

There was once a U2 version, now you can have the "Itallian Stallion" version. (Mine is black) [;]

Will quicktime convert WMA(Windows Media) files to IPOD supported format? I couldn't tell from the description.

I'm not sure about that one. Which platform do you use, Windows or Mac? If you use a Mac you can check out the Quicktime Pro support page at www.apple.com. Or, you can check out this program at www.flip4mac.com.

I was finally able to load video shorts #1 - #4 on the IPOD. This is the coolest thing ever (I'm easily impressed). Being able to take a minature Italian Stallion everywhere i go is great. Great to take him to the range or the course....when you get to be my age you need a refresher course about once a week..........
