I will start by saying that I do not own a copy of TGM (by my posts, shocking, I know.)
However, I have learned a tremendous amount by reading BM's articles, others posts, and as well as trolling through posts on the tgm.com site.
I have learned things on both of these sites that I have never heard from any other instructor (36 yo, starting playing/caddying at 12 yo).
PP3, Lag, and aiming point are 3 of the most relevant and important things that I have learned since starting to read these sites.
I have learned the most when it has been broken down into digestable pieces like BM's articles, TGM.com pix of flying wedges, Holenones translations, and Mathew's pictures.
I would love to spend the next few cold months digesting and learning practical lessons from TGM like the ones mentioned above.
It would be great if all of the passionate posters here, esp. BM, HolenOne, Redgoat, and rookie of the year Mathew (Go SOX), continue to translate TGM and all of the great and unique knowledge contained therein and deciphers it for "the masses".
There is a TON of great info contained in the book and you all owe it to Ben, in this day of the internet vs. a yellow book, to get it into a format that is teachable in order for it to be accepted the way that it deserves to be.
When I read this and other TGM sites I always think of the movie "say anything" with John CUsack when his character solicits love advice from 2 guys sitting at the local 7 Eleven; "If you guys know so much about women, what are you doing here on a Sat. night without a date?...they answer, by choice, man, by choice."
It's time to start dating.

bcoak do you have bens video. it explains the book and the 24 components very well. ben makes it simple, i highly reccomend going to see him or at least buying the video. ive watched his video at least 10 times and am always getting more info out of it
