I have this tendency also and this is something I constantly monitor. I know Redgoat likes people to set up with their weight on the balls of the feet at address he feels that if you set up with too much weight on the heels this will lead to a balance correction in the downswing which causes you to move off your Tush line. I check that my weight is on the balls of my feet to start with. When your ass moves forward your head will shoot up so if you monitor your head height you ass will not move off the tush line. Brian's horizontal kneck at address leads to less bobbing. Modern pop instruction likes a chin up high head but all good ball stikers have a horizontal neck at impact this means in the modern pop swing the neck will go from being in line with the spine to horizontal in the downswing. In Brians address it will remain a constant as it will not be seeking it's horizontal position at impact. I find that by setting up with Brian's preferred neck and head position I can monitor my head height and therefore as a consequence the tush line. A very good drill is hitting balls with a chair behind you so that you keep your trail butt cheak in contact with the chair back at the top and keep it in contact during the hip bump at transition. By keeping your tail bone back this way it will not come forward. A product of coming off your tush line is an increase in head height . This will in turn mean that you will have a longer trail arm at impact so you will also need to work on your impact fix and checking that your trail arm has more bend at impact and getting used to feeling of being much lower than you are used to.

Thanks guy's. Will i tend to hit it fat till i fix my trail arm?
I think you will find this to be the case. I had a lot of problems hitting the ball fat when changing this is still work in progress . I had/ have but less so a nasty move half way down in the downswing where I would interupt my pure swinging motion with a straightening of the body combined with a straightening of the right arm with a deliberate right arm hit. The thrusting out of the right arm gave the "feeling" of extra power but in reality was costing me both direction and distance. I got used to an incorrect impact position with a longer right arm. When I worked on not shooting forward with the hips the the right arm still "wanted" to find it's normal position at impact and I hit fat shots. I had to retrain the right arms condition at impact by deliberately working on it at fix training in the "new" feeling and getting rid of the hit. It takes work but is well worth the effort. I my case wanting to give the ball a good lash was triggering the nasty moves so I also had to adjust my mind set into from give it a whack to do it right.

All-Star post Hue:D. I'll bet you were also able to feel the sequenced release much more effectively.

Big time:DWhen I keep the steady spine and keep out the bobbing and send that trail shoulder downplane and keep it going down staying with the shot the ball just takes off with a proper pro ball flight and people comment on the different sound. It almost feels too easy and I have to curb the temptation of wanting to give it more as this always leads to the bobbing move. I was looking at my golf swing when I first took up the game and the bobbing move was in there right from the start. Getting rid of old habits is tough but I am on the right track. I know that if I had a coach like Brian around me this garbage bobbing move would have been killed a long time ago.
