Brian: What do you think of Byron Nelson's knee action through the hitting area ? He said that it was a key reason why he was so straight. It differs from what is generally taught where the lead leg is straightening through impact. In his swing he saggs his knees through the stike . It seems to be an anti moving off your tush line move which leads to a more constant spine angle through the strike.

In the pics I have of Byron, he straightens (not locks) his knee from release point to impact, past separation—like Tim Simpson used to—he RE-bends it.
