Cabrera's Putting Style

Has anyone ever tried what Cabrera is doing with the putter? I went out to the course yesterday and putted better than I have in ten years by gripping the belly putter like a normal putter. I think that I may have finally found something. Has anybody else ever tinkered with this concept?

I think JB Holmes does the same thing...at least he said so in his 'Playing Lessons with the Pros.' One of my problems is that I'm 6'4" tall and I've never been in a golf shop that has a belly putter (or even a long putter) that's long enough. Although I doubt I would start putting with one of those things anyway.

There was someone on the Senior tour that was doing this, I think he was Argentinian as well. Can't remember the name.
