F fronesis New Jul 7, 2008 #3 shortgamer is correct. I would add: Casting often leads to flipping, but it doesn't have to. And you can certainly flip it without casting. Or, in social science speak: casting is neither a necessary nor sufficient condition for flipping, yet they are often correlated.
