On golf channel show Hank Haney is gonna give lessons to Charles Barkley. This will be a huge show in golf lesson giving world. What would you teach to fix him. His swing is maybe the worst ever.

Good Question

I would have him do the drill where balls are lined up and you hit the ball and without hesitation proceed to hit the next ball and so forth.

My thoughts exactly. It seems too easy though.......you'd think someone would have tried that on him already.....I have no clue what he has tried though.

Today on the Bob and Tom show Joe Theisman said he has seen Barkley hit it fine on the range with no hickup but as soon as he gets in front of a crowd he does his little hitch. Sounds like it's all mental.

Yes Chris, but he did change it on the day...surely it is then up to the pupil to maintain that action...

I know they say "if the pupil hasn't learned, the teacher hasn't taught"...but something must be down to the pupil having a true purpose and reacting to that...

Knowledge is earned, not given....:)
