When in the downswing would this gamma torque move likely occur? I suspect a lot of people learned to gamma torque near the bottom of their swing by crossing their forearms over each other instead of having the lead wrist flex like done by Chris in the video.
Is this just another way to hit a draw? I ask because my normal setup and swing is the Soft Draw pattern. So if I added this move to the soft draw swing would it over do it? ie. - hit pull hooks

Yup. You can still lose the twist just before impact (late into the DS) and some people absolutely need extra insurance. As you get better at maintaining the twist you scale that swing thought back some.
