Was/is he one of Ben's students? I played in a tourney with him way back when. What do you think of his swing Brian? (it has been a while, not sure if it has changed much). If I recall he had a strong left hand, neutral right hand. Somewhat like Morrison's move, but with a flat left wrist and a 45 degree left hand instead of a 90 and nice extensor action.

He was quite good at keeping his wedges because of that grip.

I watched him at Walton Heath at the US Open Qualifying for a couple of holes . He did have a swing that looked like he was trying to swing like a vintage Bobby Clampett.

He did not look like he was playing well . He hit a nasty hooked second shot on a par five and looked like he had enough . It is a tough course which I play a lot. Gary Evans was hitting his drives 45 yards past where I end up and I am considered as reasonably long. I think I am missing something.
